Infection Prevention — CLABSI

Overview

Sustained reduction of central line-associated bloodstream infection (CLABSI) remains elusive in many institutions. The key to successful CLABSI reduction is to combine strategies from the available guidelines with the adaptive cultural changes necessary to achieve actionable sustainable results. Renewed focus from hospital leadership, physicians, and nurses is essential to promote a culture of zero tolerance for CLABSI and unsafe practices.
