Monica Magee is a board-certified infection preventionist and registered nurse with over 14 years of progressive leadership experience across long-term care, acute care, and public health sectors. Magee has held key roles as a director of nursing; an infection preventionist in long-term care, acute care, and PA Project Firstline; and a senior clinical educator for LTC RISE (Long-Term Care Resiliency, Infrastructure Supports, and Empowerment). She has collaborated with healthcare leadership in helping improve quality of care through evidence-based infection prevention practices. Her expertise spans program development, staff education, regulatory compliance, and data-driven quality improvement.
Magee holds a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Phoenix and is completing her Master of Science in nursing education. She is nationally certified in infection prevention and control (CIC) and has presented at multiple professional conferences, including the Disease Prevention & Control Summit with the Pennsylvania Department of Health’s Project Firstline. Her leadership philosophy emphasizes collaboration, education, and proactive risk management to enhance patient/resident outcomes and promote resilience across healthcare systems.
