Research Scientist
Data Science and Research​

Christine Sanchez is a research scientist on the data science and research team at the Patient Safety Authority (PSA). She is responsible for utilizing patient safety data combined with relevant literature to develop strategies aimed at improving patient safety in Pennsylvania. Sanchez is also responsible for authoring manuscripts based on the results from this research, which are published in the PSA’s peer-reviewed journal, Patient Safety.​

Sanchez earned her BS in nutritional sciences and BS in toxicology from Penn State University. She then completed her master’s degree in public health from the University of New England. Christine is also a certified clinical research coordinator. Prior to joining the PSA, Sanchez worked as a research coordinator for over 10 years. She has worked in both clinical and academic research settings, with focuses on nutritional sciences and minimally invasive surgery.​
