Business Operations Manager
Tony “TJ” Arnold works as business operations manager with the Patient Safety Authority (PSA), assisting in financial, procurement, human resources, and other administrative roles. Arnold graduated summa cum laude from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy and a minor in English. He was a scholar in the Schreyer Honors College and is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa academic honor society. .
Arnold worked with the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture for 12 years, most recently as chief administrative officer for the Bureau of Animal Health and Diagnostic Services. His wide-ranging experience in budgets, grants, and administrative management in the animal health, animal diagnostics, and One Health sectors helps him understand the challenges facing the human healthcare sector and, more importantly, its opportunities for growth and innovation.
