This course will be held on different dates at various locations throughout the Commonwealth. Registration and Conference times are the same for all dates and locations (Registration: 9:30 - 10 a.m., Conference: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.). The four-hour session will feature presentations from PSA staff and Eric Weitz, Esq., an attorney and PSA board member committed to improving the healthcare system.
These exciting, in-person sessions will discuss the difference between disclosure and transparency, describe the process of disclosing adverse events to patients and families, identify methods to improve disclosure conversations, and help attendees understand the legal implications of disclosure and why patients seek legal advice after an event.
