South Central (SC) - Ambulatory Surgery Facilities (ASF) Symposium

The fifth annual Ambulatory Surgery Facilities Symposium will be held on different dates at various locations throughout the Commonwealth. Registration and Conference times are the same for all dates and locations (Registration: 8:30 - 9 a.m., Conference: 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.). These exciting, in-person sessions will include four topics specifically focused for ambulatory settings and presented by experts on the topic:
•PA-DOH Life Safety Code Updates (presented by Charlie Schlegel, director, Department of Health, Division of Safety Inspection)
•What’s New in ASC Quality (presented by Julie Volz, project coordinator for Quality Insights Quality Innovation Network)
•Infection Prevention Surveillance Strategies for ASFs (presented by the Patient Safety Authority infection preventionists)
•Human Factors Strategies That Can Be Used to Improve Processes in ASF Settings (presented by the Patient Safety Authority patient safety liaisons)
Continuing education hours will be awarded for completion of this course. Continuing education credits apply to Pennsylvania registered nurses only.
